New technologies. Disposable technologies still hold enormous potential. In this respect, Optima Group Pharma’s bet is on investing in developments for filling systems in-house. The partnership with Switzerland-based Lugaia STS was sealed with the acquisition of a company interest this year. Lugaia designed a certified and patented disposable process that supports sterile transfers into and out of isolator-protected zones. The approach uses pre-sterilized foils and specific welding technologies which produce peel-able compounds. [...]
